Winter in New York

Welcome to winter in Western New York! Over the weekend we got about a foot of snow. It was coming down so hard that Matt had to shovel twice so he wouldn't break his back! The girls had a great time "helping him" and Cali has learned to love chasing snowballs. I luckily got out of helping thanks to my son. We will definitely have a white Christmas.

Kendall's Christmas Party

Kendall had her Christmas Party at school today. She sang many classic Christmas songs with her class.
She got to bring in a dozen of her favorite cookies (Oatmeal Chocolate Chip with Craisins) she helped Mommy make to share with her class.

She had a suprise visitor come at the end. She wasn't so brave without her big sister so one of her teachers, Mrs. Joyce, helped her to talk to Santa. She did a great job singing and dancing.

Santa Claus is coming to town!

The girls recently got to tell Santa what they wanted for Christmas when he visited their Daddy's Sam's Club. They were really excited in the car to tell him the one thing they really wanted but when we arrived, Kendall wasn't so sure. Thankfully she has a very brave big sister who convinced her Santa was nice and it would be fun. I think Jayden did a good job. What do you think? Kendall decided the big old guy was okay and Mommy got a good picture out of it! She was even brave enough to look him in the eye and tell him she wanted a fish and hair beads for Christmas. All Jayden wants this year is a guitar. I think we have a future rock star on our hands.
