From Kendall's Perspective

Since Carson has arrived we have been taking a lot of pictures. Kendall has been asking us non-stop if she can take some too. She even learned how to take a picture of herself! So here are some of her shots. I thought it was interesting to see how she views the world. Some of them are pretty good.

Our Little Good Samaritan

Every day 2 chosen students get to raise the flag at Jayden's school. Jayden was recently chosen for being a good student and helping others. We were so proud of her but more importantly she was very proud of herself. It was so cold the day she got to raise the flag but you couldn't tell from her beaming face. We always wonder how she is really doing at her new school and this just helps confirm to us that she is adjusting just fine.

Toothless Wonder

Jayden has just reached the milestone of loosing her first top tooth. She was so nervous to loose it at school and it was hanging on by a fine thread. So she pulled it out on her own at home! We couldn't believe our little worrywart did that all on her own. She was very excited to leave it under her pillow for the tooth fairy. We love her new smile and accent now that the tooth is gone.

New Year's Eve

We had a great time welcoming 2008 with all the new changes in our lives but we have a lot to be thankful for in the year 2007. We are thankful for the health of our children, especially the uneventful birth of Carson. We are thankful we had family and friends to come and help us out during our move and when it was time to have Carson. We decided to make the move to Buffalo at a kind of crazy time in all our lives and we are thankful that we have all adjusted to our new surroundings. Jayden and Kendall both love their new schools for the most part, Matt is doing well in his new position and Alisha is quickly getting to know the area and make new friends. We are excited for the new challenges that 2008 will bring us and hope that you and your families have a blessed New Year. Here are some pictures of our crazy night out on New Year's Eve.

Carson Ben Lindsey

He is finally here! Carson Ben Lindsey was born on December 26th. He was 8lbs. 6oz. and 21 inches long. He was by far the smallest and fastest baby we have ever had. Both mom and baby are doing well. He is such a joy to our house and his sisters love him so much.

He is really a great baby and doesn't cry or complain unless you are changing his diaper. Then he can clear a room with cries that come from his mouth. We will be posting more pictures when we can. We just thought people may be curious to see him so here are a few we have taken.

Christmas Time!

Thanks to Emily Owsley, our family has a new tradition and every year we let the girls open one present on Christmas Eve. It is always pajamas so that the next morning when we are taking pictures they have on cute pjs. The have come to realized that they are going to open pjs and not a toy but they really look forward to seeing what they are going to look like.

Kendall loves to wear the pjs with the feet attached and she also loves butterflys and anything pink. She was pretty happy about her pjs this year.

Jayden is in love with any girly show that is on Disney Channel and she was pretty excited about her Hannah Montana pjs. She also received various Cheetah Girls and High School Musical things.

We snapped this picture before they tore into their presents on Christmas morning. They were so excited to see what Santa brought them. Jayden's big gifts were a guitar and the various Disney Channel trinkets. Santa brought Kendall a real live fish and a computer that helps her learn her letters and numbers. Now we are just waiting the arrival of our new son. I'm being induced on the 26th and he will be our greatest gift. No name yet but we are working on it.
