Carson's New Tricks

Carson is going to be 8 months in 2 days and he is already flying through stages in his life. I'm not one to compare my children but I will say that he is definitely different then the girls were at this age. His new things is to do this... The best part is that I didn't sit him there to play. He can crawl! He just learned this last Monday. I stepped away to do the dishes and Jayden found him this way. Lesson learned for Mommy. Now that he can move he is really getting good...

Now he can get himself around the house and get into other bad things he loves so much, PAPER! I can't believe I already have to child proof my home. The girls are pretty good about picking up there little toys and love making him move.

Burnin' Up for the Joe Bros.

Our friend, who is now in my mind an angel, braved the Jonas Brothers concert with our two girls and her daughter last night. Of course Jayden and Kendall had to get all "Jona-fied" so being the totally cool mother that I am I made signs, bought pink hair coloring, and bought tattoos to cover their bodies.

Then I found out you couldn't take any sign bigger than 8 x 10 and the hair color didn't take. So this is what we made instead...

They got to scream, hold up their signs and buy the all necessary concert shirt. The girls had a great time but I think quickly learned how hard it is to party like a rock star because they did a lot of this today...

The Ingram Family

My cousin Veronica and her two kids, Garrett 5 and Julia 16 months, decided to leave the Valley of the Sun (Phoenix) and enjoy the much cooler Buffalo summer for a week. It was the best week together. Our mothers are very close and we grew up together. I think of her more as a sister than a cousin. Having her around made me miss her even more. She has always had that special touch with my kids. Carson wont go to sleep like this for me and she did it almost every night! Our kids played so well together and were so sad to have to leave each other. We had so much fun that poor Julia fell asleep while eating one night...

Poor girl was so hungry but oh so tired! Dont forget to pause the music on the side to hear the video. I'm so glad they came to see us. We miss them so much already.

Erie County Fair 2008

Who doesn't love the fair!?! Matt and I decided to take our kids to the local county fair yesterday. It was their first time going to a fair and they loved it. They rode rides, saw the animals, played games and ate as much junk as possilbe. They even got experience watching the tractor truck pull from afar. The highlight was probably when their Dad won them as many stuffed animals as possible. I was pretty proud that it only took him one try and $5 at the basketball stand to win the big pink one.

Katherine Hunt Saenz

All of you know I have a little brother, RJ, who just turned 5. Well, I would like to introduce you to the newest addition to the family....
Katie (Katherine) Hunt Saenz, my new baby sister.

She was born on Matt's birthday, July 17 and everybody is doing great. She was a few weeks early but healthy. RJ likes her so far and is turning out to be a great big brother. She is so cute. I can't wait to meet her in person!
