My friend Melissa just tagged me with this really cute questionaire for her Valentine's Day post with these beautiful pictures of her wedding day. Since we don't have our wedding pictures on a CD, I thought I would post a picture of our beautiful children. They were our dates for the day because we have all been so sick. Carson and I just got minor colds but Matt and the girls really got sick. Thankfully we are all on the up and up. Okay, here are her questions...
Where did you meet your husband?
I met him while I was working at Sam's Club. He was the cute electronics associate I would have to call up to the membership desk to check the electronics refunds.
What was the first thing he said to you?
Since we worked together I'm sure it was something insignificant about and electronics item.
When was your first date?
We fight about this question every time it is asked of us. He asked me to go to the work Christmas Party with him. I thought it sounded like a date even though I worked at the same place and was pretty excited. Then he picked me up with his roommate and I was confused. His roommate talked to me most of the evening and I thought maybe he was trying to set me up with him. He says he had asked his roommate about it before we decided to go together and couldn't tell him no because the roommate was so excited (it was only a gross spagetti dinner at an Elk's Logdge). Looking back on it now that I know the roommate, I could see where he wouldn't want to let a friend down. It wasn't easy on a girl though!
When was your first kiss?
December 1999. I had just graduated college and was leaving for a month and half long trip out of the country. It was the night before I was leaving and I wasn't sure exactly if all the hanging out we had been doing for the last few weeks was just hanging out or if we were actually dating. He planted one on me before he left my house and cleared it all up for me. I was so nervous, happy, and shocked I don't think I really kissed him back. I think that left him with a few unaswered questions for the next month.
Long/Short courtship/engagement?
We decided to do things a little different. We dated for a while and then along came Jayden. We got married when she was 2. I wouldn't change it for the world
When did you get married?

Where was your honeymoon?
Carlsbad, CA. It was the best time. The village is so beautiful and you could walk to everything.
I just wanted to let my husband know how much I love him and appreciate everything he does for this family. You are such a great husband and father. Thank you for helping to make all my dreams a reality! I love you honey!
