Happy Birthday Dad!

My dad's birthday was March 19th and I just wanted to post some of my favorite pictures of him. Happy Birthday Dad! We love you!

Jayden's Baptism

Jayden was baptized by her Dad on March 14. It was our first child to baptize and it was such an amazing and beautiful experience. She really thought about what she was doing and that was the best gift as her parent. Both our moms came in for the event and that was a special treat. They gave the baptism talks and then we had a small dinner at our home to celebrate the day. I wish I could have taken a picture of her sweet face as she was waiting for Matt to confirm her. It is an image I'll keep of her in my mind forever. Even when she is grown and has a family of her own. I think that is how I'm going to choose to see her still! Her dress was hand made by our bishop's wife, Melba Seacrest. She is so talented and did a beautiful job. Here are some pictures of the day...

Happy Birthday Jayden

Jayden turned 8 today and the poor little thing has been sick! Our whole house has been taking turns with something wrong and it was her turn on her birthday. We still did our family party though. Luckily she was well enough over the weekend to still have her birthday party. She picked an American Girl theme and had each of her friends bring their favorite doll. They played an American Girl called Molly's Mystery Game. They had to pretend it was Halloween, dress up, and solve a mystery.


They also played and Sing It! on the Wii. I highly recommend that game if you have a daughter and a Wii. They can play that for hours! They ate chocolate cake with her Aquamarine frosting, her favorite color.


I'm so proud of the beautiful little 8 yr old she has become. She is a good person, daughter, sister and friend. She is so caring and considerate and loves to be active. Happy Birthday Jayden. Your family loves you!
